• What makes FunDog shirts different than all the others?

  Our shirts attempt to capture the essence of the dogs and the lessons and the fun that come from caring for a dog. We feature a variety of dogs in our designs; dogs just being dogs. And we use eco-friendly fabrics and water-based screen printing.

• Why use natural, sustainable fabrics?

  We believe in taking care of the planet and doing our part to leave it in good shape for the next generation of people and pets. One way we can do that, as a company, is through our commitment to organic fabrics. Organic cotton is grown without pesticides and without genetically modifying the plant. This lessens the environmental impact of the crop, but costs a bit more to produce. In the way of the world we live in, the added cost is passed on to the consumer, but we believe a little extra is worth it when you look at the big picture. • What's so special about water-based screen printing?

  In traditional screen printing, the image actually sits on top of the shirt and the printing process typically involves plastisol-based inks. In water-based screen printing, the process and the inks are more environmentally friendly. The image actually sinks into the garment, and the end result is a softer shirt with a brighter, permanent image.

• Why does it matter that your notecards have an FSC certification?

  This is another way our company makes the extra effort to produce and sell eco-friendly products. All of our promotional materials and our stationery items are printed by a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified printer on FSC certified paper. This means that the paper comes from well-managed forests and is manufactured and sold in a responsible manner. The printer is the last stop in the paper’s chain of custody and must produce the finished product (our note cards) according to FSC standards. • When will you have more designs?

  We plan to regularly introduce new designs and characters. Check back soon!

• What size should I order?

  The women’s sizes are a “fitted” style, so if you like your shirts loose, you may want to order a size larger or a men’s size (if available.) The men’s and unisex sizes are cut longer, but run true to average tee-shirt sizes in the shoulders and chest. The men’s sizes are a bit narrower through the bodice than the unisex sizes for a more tapered fit. Check the size charts for more info.
