
At Fundamentally Dog, we are committed to supporting organizations that help animals. Each quarter, we'll donate a portion of our sales to worthwhile non-profit organizations focused on the health and welfare of pets.
A donation for Q2/2010 was nade to:
- Grey2K USA - a national, non-profit organization dedicated to ending commercial dog racing in the U.S.
A donation for Q1/2010 was made to:
- Lucky Dog Animal Rescue - an all-volunteer, non-profit animal
rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals, based in Washington, D.C.
A donation for Q4/2009 was made to:
- Pet Helpers - a private, non-pofit adoption center and spay/neuter clinic serving the Low Country region of South Carolina. The donation was made in honor of "Zeke," a charming lab-mix and the perfect example of a what is truly a "good dog."
Donations for Q3/2009 were made to:
- The ABMC Rescue - a non-profit division of the American Belgian Malinois Club working to place adoptable Malinois' in loving homes.
NOTE: This donation was made in memory of Freddy, a k-9 in service to the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team, killed in the line of duty Oct. 28, 2009. He died doing the job he was trained to do and protecting his team members.
- Canine Companions for Independence - a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. CCI is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people.
A donation for Q2/2009 was made to:
- Human Society Adoption Center of Monroe, La. - a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter established in 1964 to assist in pet adoption, prevention of cruelty to animals, and disaster relief services.
A donation for Q1/2009 was made to:
- The Young-Williams Animal Center - a not-for profit organizaton serving the Knoxville-Knox County, Tennessee region through innovative approaches to sheltering, adopting, and spaying/neutering of animals and public education about animal welfare.
Our first donations (for the fourth quarter of 2008) were made to:
- The Rabies Challenge Fund - a major research project to determine the duration of immunity conveyed by rabies vaccines. The goal is to extend the required interval for rabies boosters to five and then to seven years.
- The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League - a not-for-profit rescue organization founded in 1979 to serve a seven state region. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. They care for and work to place Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs in responsible, loving homes.
Non-profit organizations may apply for a donation from Fundamentally Dog. Submit your request in writing, including documentation of your 501c3 status, information about the mission and work of your organization, and how the funds will be used.
Contributions are made at the sole discretion of the owners of Fundamentally Dog.
